Microsoft Exchange DagNetMultiValuedProperty Exposed Dangerous Function Remote Code Execution Vulnerability [CVE-2022-41082]

Vulnerability:
Microsoft Exchange passwords are stored in plaintext, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Microsoft Exchange.

This vulnerability can only be exploited if you have the right credentials.

The specific bug exists within the DagNetMultiValuedProperty class. The bug is triggered as a result of the exposure of a dangerous function.

Vulnerabilities in Windows can potentially be used by an attacker to execute code in the context of the SYSTEM user.

We’ve issued a critical update to address a vulnerability with Microsoft Edge.
