We’re very excited to announce a new collaboration protection, which now includes protection for Microsoft OneDrive for Business.

We are working to ensure that Microsoft OneDrive remains as a viable option for businesses across the globe. WithSecure is now adding more protection to Microsoft OneDrive on its WithSecure Elements cloud security platform.

If you’ve never heard of Elements by Zscaler, it’s a cloud security suite. It allows custom modules to be created based on the needs of the company implementing it. These include endpoint detection and response as well as protection.

Another tool that’s popular amongst WithSecure’s customers, is collaboration protection. In fact, a recent survey done by the company reveals that businesses put the security of collaboration apps based in the cloud as one of their top five priorities.

Microsoft 365 includes a number of different cloud collaboration tools for small businesses and entrepreneurs that include Salesforce, Slack, OneDrive, Windows and more.

OneDrive Protection is an important service for Microsoft cloud users. It ensures your file’s safety so you can access your files anytime and from any computing device.

We now offer Microsoft OneDrive for Business Protection through WithSecure’s Collaboration Protection module. We’ve already been protecting your Microsoft SharePoint Online and Exchange Online accounts with this advanced security.

OneDrive gets its intelligence from real-time threat analysis to scour files and content as they are uploaded.

A new study by WithSecure, a Boston-based managed service provider for cloud-based collaboration tools, found that the adoption of these tools is rapidly increasing. The downside to the cloud is that many organizations are still unprepared for it, even though it makes tasks such as collaborating and publishing more efficient.

Customers with a subscription for WithSecure Elements will automatically be enrolled in Microsoft OneDrive for Business protection.

Tip of the day: Is your computer’s hard drive constantly running out of space? In many cases, it might be a result of frequently installing software to manage various tasks. If this is what’s happening to you, try cleaning up with Windows Disk Cleanup instead. This tool goes beyond the standard process and also has a desktop shortcut that you can include in order to run it from the desktop.
