Microsoft is conjuring up yet more modules for its Viva platform and is gearing up to release the first role-based Viva Sales app on October 3rd.

One-off content that target specific audiences.

Microsoft was founded in 1975 when Bill Gates and Paul Evans convinced the MITS Altair maker of a low-cost Personal Computer to sell it to them.

For the past year, Microsoft has been working on developing new products for its Viva employee experience platform. It also announced more details about how its Sales CRM app will be available to the public on October 3rd. The company did this in a virtual event on September 22nd.

At Viva you can tie in communications across a team and make your employees feel right at home, whether they’re in-person or just across the web. It’s a simple strategy that makes your company more efficient and productive.

Recently, Microsoft has been planning a public debut of Viva, which is running on Teams and includes some already existing Microsoft technologies. But it also includes some new ones and a combination of research and work that came from the “Project Cortex” project.

Viva is getting closer to its goal of having personal well-being services like Virtual Commute, Headspace integration, and recommended actions based on analytics. In addition to these features, we’ll have Viva Topics and Viva Learning. Microsoft has also made the suite better through features like Viva Goals and Viva Engage.

Microsoft’s grand vision for building the next generation of apps can be understood with this SDK.

Microsoft is revising the Viva Connections homepage so users will be able to see all of the company’s apps in one place. Additionally, they’re bringing out a new app called Viva Pulse in 2023. This app builds on and extends Microsoft Forms, another new app that they’ve created. Finally, they’re creating yet another app called Viva Amplify specifically for “communication teams and leaders” as an easier way to broadcast their messages and campaigns more consistently and broadly.

Microsoft is working on new integrations for Viva Goals, including an enhanced Teams app that lets users check in and collaborate on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs); task tasks automatically updating work items; a link to Power BI datasets for tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and results; and the integration with Microsoft Planner and Project. More integrations between Viva Learning and LinkedIn Learning are on the way, allowing users to see all their LinkedIn Learning Hub content synced inside Teams.
